Description
Kavros is a village of about 450 population. Kavros is 32 km east of Chania, 18 km west of Rethymnon and 3 km east of Georgioupolis.

Kavros is a popular tourist resort with a wonderful sandy beach, with many shops, hotels, rent a cars, mini markets, pharmacies, tavernas, restaurants, cafes and bars.

It is close to the beautiful lake of Kournas in a wonderful green scenery.

Post office and fire dept is at Vrisses(8 km W), telephone service and health center at Vamos(12 km NW).
