Description
Atsipopoulo is a suburb of Rethymnon of about 1600 people. It is located 3 km west of the center or Rethymnon and 1,5 km from the sea. The last years it has grown very much and now it is connected to the Rethymnon city.

The old village is located in the center and has Venetian housing build 600 years ago, with yards and wells, also old styled churches. The view is magnificent towards the sea and the country.

Atsipopoulon is only 1km from the national road junction, providing easy access towards Heraklion-Chana and all Crete. You can find a bakery, candy shop, dvd rental club, cafenion, super market and 2 tavernas. In 1 km is located the Lidl super market and in 3 km at Rethymnon city you can find all type of shops and services.
