Description
Kirianna is a traditional village of about 400 population. It is located 14 km east from the center of Rethymnon and 7 km from the sea.

Kiriana has 3 tavernas, 3 kafeneion, a kafe-bar, a mini market, church, bus station, telephone booth and has a very nice view towards the sea and the country. A village inside an olive trees forest, not far from the busy tourist regions of northern Crete. You can see lots of old buildings and ruins from the era.

Many new villas are build at the area. You can shop in nearby supermarkets at 3 km at Pigi, or visit at 2km Loutra village. Also you can visit Platanes at 7km for supermarkets, rent cars, travel agencies, tourist shops, hotels. Elementary school(6 years school for 6 to 12 years old) at Adele(4km), highschool(3 years school for 12-15years old) at Misiria(9km), and Lyceum highschool(3 years from 15-18 years old) at Rethymnon city.
