Description
Loutra is a traditional village of about 300 population. Loutra is only 2.5 km from the sea and 10 km East from the city of Rethymnon.

The village of Loutra and the connected village of Pagalohori was build by the Venetians 500 years ago. You can see lots of old buildings and ruins from the era. Loutra is situated at the middle of a huge olive tree forest.

Many villas are build at the area. You can shop in nearby supermarkets at 4 km distance, in Loutra you can find an old styled bakery and a traditional taverna. You can also find many shops at Stavromenos in 3 km. Loutra has a very good sea and country view and it has very good direct access towards the national road and the sea.
