Description
Voleones is a traditional village of about 170 population. It is located about 18 km from the sea of the north crete and 25 km NE from the Rethymnon.

The area has lots of mountains and trees, one of the best areas on the island, as well as the beautifull rivers dam. It is a huge artificiall lake that provides water towards Rethymnon city.
